I'm Judi Repman and I'm on the faculty at Georgia Southern in Statesboro, GA. I believe that librarians are the most important people in a school when it comes to intellectual freedom issues-we set the tone by providing access to ALL information that ANY student might need, no questions asked!
I am Angie Evans and I live in Augusta, GA. I graduated from ASU and taught kindergarten for seven years. This year I decided to stay home with my 17 month old son and earn my master's degree.

I have an undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice and I am working on my Master of Education degree in Instructional Technology from Georgia Southern. I hope to obtain a Media Specialist job in the public school system one day.
I'm Judy Lechner, on the faculty at Auburn University, Auburn, Alabama. The number one place where challenges to reading/viewing materials occurs is the school library. Classrooms are second. I believe, therefore, that school librarians and teachers must be prepared not only to protect the school community's right to intellectual freedom, but to understand the issues and to educate others about them.
I'm Tammy Story and I am a full time student at Georgia Southern University. I am currently pursuing my Media Specialist Degree. My name is Michael Simmons and I'm a student at GSU. My hobby is college. I am only one class from finishing my EdS in Teaching & Learning with an emphasis in Instructional Technology, but I found out I only needed a few classes to obtain my media specialist certification. So decided, since I love college, I would put the EdS on hold and take those courses. I received both my MS Ed and BS Ed for GSU in Technology Educations, so Instructional Tech and Media just seemed fit. Also, Dr. Repman and I go back a few years (10 years) and I have enjoyed every class I took from her, so I couldn’t pass up a chance to take more classes from her. So here I am and looking forward to this blog.
